While I won’t argue with Joe Weinman’s or Paul Burns’ assessment of my presentation – both experts in all things cloud – I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the organizers of the CloudConnect conference in Chicago.
Without their efforts, none of the presenters, myself included, nor the participants could have learned so much and had such a great time! Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next CloudConnect event!
Cloud Stats Bombshell Dropped at Conference
I’m generally a peaceful kinda guy, but apparently my presentation revealed some cloud data that hit hard. The bombshell that Joe refers to in his tweet, simply was a result of our monitoring over 1 million AWS instances and uncovering all sorts of inefficiencies in cloud usage, utilization and spending. I also shared customer use cases that highlighted best practices for optimizing overall cloud consumption for maximal ROI.
Stay tuned as we plan to share new cloud data and information based on our cloud monitoring and analysis, in the near future.
If you want to take a closer look at the information and best-practices I showed during the presentation, feel free to check out the slides below.
