Last week, major announcements and price cuts by leading cloud vendors Google, Amazon and Microsoft clearly confirm that multi-cloud is upon us. To support this, we’ve added brand new, monitoring and analysis tools for Google Cloud Platform (in addition to our rich tool-set for cost management and optimization in AWS). Let’s have a look at some of these cool, new tools and functionalities.

How much am I spending on specific GCP products?
As Google Cloud continues to roll out additional products for computing, storage, database, Big Data and more, you need to stay on top of your usage and cost trends. Cloudyn offers multiple tools and reports to help you do just that.

For example, IT change management is a breeze with Cloudyn’s Cost Over Time tool. You can immediately spot any anomalies and drill into any spikes or troughs, filterable by Google product, accounts and other relevant criteria.

Capacity planning and cost forecasting for GCP
Trying to forecast how Google’s “sustained usage” discount will impact your GCE costs? Need to know what each application or environment is using in GCE?

With Cloudyn’s Instance Runtime Analysis you can easily see how long each of your GCE instance have been running for any time period. You can also slice and dice the view by accounts and tags to determine which business units or projects are responsible for specific usage and will benefit most from Google’s various pricing plans.
